Our Favorite Stagings of 2014
December 31, 2014The New Year is a few hours away and 2014 is coming to an end. Before we finally say goodbye to 2014, let me share five staging transformations this year that tremendously helped our clients and have showcased the benefits and importance of home staging when selling your home.
1. 190 Borough Drive, Scarborough
Despite similar units listed in the same building at the same time, this unit was SOLD in 8 days after staging. Staging can help you outshine your competition which is important when there are a number of similar listings competing for the buyer’s attention.
2. 59 Valleyford, Richmondhill
With only 10 days to sell before auctioning this $1.4M home, it is make or break for the home owners. To make things even more challenging, this property was staged and listed at the beginning of winter, towards the Holiday season where there are few buyers looking to purchase a new home. The result, SOLD in 5 days at full asking.
3. 47 Laurie Shepway, Toronto
This staging project blew me away.. Previously listed for more than 2 months prior to staging, this town house went stale on the market without a single offer. Buyers are not seeing the potential of this beautiful town home. With the home owners cooperation, we turn things around through properly showcasing and staging the unit. The result, SOLD in 24 hours at 99% asking. Click here for Before and After photos.
4. 15th Street, Etobicoke
The owners initially thought of selling this 800 sq ft bungalow “as is” because of the tremendous work that needs to be done. With a 1 yr old baby and 2 big dogs, the owners was overwhelmed with this tiny house in a big mess. The whole house was repainted, we finished all minor repairs, install new carpets, and refinished hardwood floor and then staged it. The result, SOLD in 6 days at $74,000 over asking price.
5. 40 Nursewood, Toronto
Located at the Toronto Beaches, this project has been the most challenging project we’ve had in 2014. With the property’s size and the things that needed to be done, this has presented the biggest challenge and the most dramatic transformation for the year. Click here for the before and after shots of this property.
Transforming a dull property into every buyer’s dream home is not an easy thing to do, but with the home seller’s trust, and cooperation, coupled with hard work, and our passion for creating beautiful homes we surpassed all challenges in achieving great results for our every client.
To all the home owners, real estate professionals, investors, and tradesmen that we had the opportunity to work with this year, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your trust, support and all your help for this year. We are looking forward to another exciting year with you all in 2015! Cheers to a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
